Vice President of Product Design, Aaron Oppenheimer, brings 28 years of product development experience. Formerly VP of Design and Development at Daktari Diagnostics, he offers a deep understanding of market- and user-centered design, system development, and software system architecture. Aaron will ensure SystemOne’s products focus on unmet needs in rapidly accelerating markets.
Vice President of Business Development, Betsy Wonderly, brings 10 years of experience working in emerging markets, focused mainly on infectious diseases and diagnostics. She has managed diagnostic product lines, clinical trials, and a variety of global partnerships. Betsy most recently served as Vice President of Business Development at Daktari Diagnostics, previous to which she worked for FIND (Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics) as Head of Clinical Trials for the Ebola Diagnostics Access Coalition, a collaboration with the WHO (World Health Organization). Betsy will strengthen SystemOne’s business with global health stakeholders, including funders and device manufacturers.
Natasha Gous joins SystemOne’s South Africa office as Medical Science Liaison. With a PhD in Molecular Medicine, Natasha brings 10 years of technical and operational experience in molecular diagnostic systems for infectious diseases. She has worked extensively with point-of-care technologies for HIV and TB, with focused efforts on laboratory and clinical evaluations of technologies and investigating operational and implementation requirements for low- and middle-income countries. Previous positions held include being the Research and Development Applied Scientist for the University of the Witwatersrand, Wits Health Consortium and Program Manager Point-of-Care Testing for South Africa’s National Health Priority Program (NPP) of the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS). Natasha will drive publication initiatives and help Ministries of Health and other stakeholders get the most benefit from the data they move with SystemOne’s GxAlert and Aspect platforms.
Support Specialist, Victor Lubuku, joins our South Africa office bringing 13 years of technology consulting and support, sales, resource planning, client management and process implementation in the healthcare industry. Victor brings a breadth of client-facing and back-end software knowledge to the team. At SystemOne, he will improve support processes for the GxAlert and Aspect platforms, provide on-site training for implementations, maintain Standard Operating Procedures and, while ensuring continuous improvement.
Leah Ekbladh joins SystemOne as Global Health Team Leader with 19 years of experience designing, managing and implementing international health programs with a focus on service quality and system performance. Most recently a Senior Associate and Scientist at Abt Associates, Leah’s background includes global health research and evaluation, program implementation and proposal management. She brings critical experience to SystemOne’s business development team, focusing on priorities for global health funders.
Marketing Specialist, Lindsey Burke, brings 12 years of corporate communications experience to the team. Formerly the Director of Marketing for Town Green District in New Haven, CT, Lindsey was responsible for growing its social media reach by over 75% and introduced several new programs to the District. In her new role, she will implement strategic marketing and public relations to further awareness of SystemOne’s accomplishments and brand, grow its audiences and funnel interest to its sales pipeline. Â
