Provides Actionable Insights and Checklist-style Controls for Global Health Labs
Springfield, MA and Johannesburg, South Africa – July 30, 2018 - SystemOne, the leader in global disease intelligence for rapid detection and response, has launched a new approach for helping manage laboratories in global health settings. The “Action Dashboard” brings together a laboratory’s testing data and operational information in one place, giving laboratory managers at the local and regional levels unprecedented insights into laboratory operations, combined with user-friendly alerts about operational issues, such as devices in need of service, low stock levels, or communication issues.
Designed in partnership with the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), the first Action Dashboard deployment is in Myanmar, which has been using GxAlert, SystemOne’s flagship platform for diagnostics connectivity, since 2014. The Action Dashboard represents a new level of features built on SystemOne’s next-generation platform, Aspect, with flexible, secure data management and advanced analyses in a simple, easy-to-read and easy-to-use form.
“The Action Dashboard gives labs a straightforward list of issues and actions needed, from device maintenance to data collection, and lets regional officers see what’s happening in every laboratory. It supports configurable testing targets to allow a program to plan and track its coverage for different patient populations,” said Aaron Oppenheimer, VP of Product Design, SystemOne. “Working with FIND staff, and informed by members of the Clinton Health Access Initiative as well as the Myanmar National Tuberculosis Program helped us create the ideal tool for their environment.”

SystemOne products are used to collect, analyze, and deliver diagnostic data from any diagnostic device for diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV, hepatitis, Ebola, and Zika. “Our focus is on flexibility,” said Oppenheimer. “There is no one-size-fits-all solution, so we have built our platform to be easily configurable to fit the needs of Ministries and implementing organizations working in any disease, in any country. We are already working to extend the Action Dashboard.”
