SystemOne’s Aspect Optimizes Medical Diagnostic Networks for Progress in the Fight Against TB, HIV, COVID-19 and other infectious diseases

SystemOne’s digital backbone for diagnostics is used in over 40 countries, stretching from Asia to Latin America. An internal study covering 7 countries for 12 months post-implementation showed:

• The average number of tests per instrument increased by over 50%, and
  

• The average number of testing days per instrument increased by 31 days.

These two metrics highlight the kind of improvements that can be made in the diagnostic system once laboratory consumables, staffing, resources and errors are monitored and addressed in real-time.

In addition, the system has been critical in planning acquisition and distribution of additional devices as health ministries gather insight into usage metrics and population needs, allowing them to invest in diagnostics where needed, while saving money for other initiatives where possible.
