GxAlert and Aspect Platforms Have Processed 6,000,000+ Results in 43 Countries

Springfield, MA and Johannesburg, South Africa – December 18, 2018 - SystemOne, the leader in moving diagnostic data for rapid disease detection and response, announces new GxAlert® and Aspect® implementations in Vietnam and Cameroon. This work is funded by CDC and will be implemented with help from FHI 360.

In Cameroon, SystemOne’s platform Aspect will link TB diagnostic results from the GeneXpert (Cepheid) and HIV Viral Load results from the m2000 (Abbott) to a sample transport application. The link will capture and monitor information regarding sample collection and referral in order to improve the existing sample transport network in Cameroon. In addition to communicating results in real-time over SMS, Aspect will also push results back to the mobile application so that healthcare workers can view them on the Mobile App, where notes, progress and patient outcomes can be added.

In Vietnam, SystemOne will provide the GxAlert platform to help the National TB Programme shed light on its national rollout of GeneXperts. The system will rapidly move data from GeneXperts to dashboards and mobile devices, in addition to providing user-configured instant alerts about new results, machine errors, inventory management and more. Using GxAlert represents a commitment to moving diagnostic results quickly, getting patients on to treatment faster and working towards internally-supported goals to fight TB and DR-TB. Vietnam's initial 10 facility pilot has commenced, and upon completion they will roll out the platform to 100 facilities.

The GxAlert and Aspect platforms have now processed over 6 million infectious disease diagnostic results in over 43 countries. The systems send over 50,000 user-configured notifications to health systems staff, clinicians and ministry officials each month.
